absolutely matter in

relationships with

those things change the contact the situation dramatically
so if you were dealing with only Millennials
it might actually be fine to go digital only in say
able to share contact details let me put you in my phone right away
let me on yell had you put your my information in your phone
so on and so forth but that works for digital natives that work for
Millennials that works for generations e coming up
that makes sense and it makes sense for the tech-savvy people there are over

but if you're out there and you're in a small town
or you're dealing with a lot baby boomers or
even the older people within generation axe a business card
the damn screams legitimacy it screams
that you wanna make a good impression and that you putting care and investment
and the judge you on the quality of your business cards and also
the design aesthetic ovett how good the stock is
all these things play into the context that how they interpret you
and also that situation yes they can lose your business card
absolutely still put their information in your phone and
have them tried to put you know yours in their phone
and sewn support yes email them immediately a right away
connect with them on social media but at the same time
put a business card in their hand because they're gonna have to accept it
that the physical interaction that memorable
they get the look at a compliment you want it say something about it
they also get to give you the heirs if they have one on them
and if they don't create a gap between you guys in like
oh wow I don't have mine on me thank you so much I wish I had one to give you
blah blah it starts a conversation understand the value ok reading
experience
you know what print is it dead you know why print isn't that Meadowhall another
rant on that at some point
print isn't dead because I'll the connection we have to enter into
tangible media
and because it's an experience when you have something that's print media
you can feel it you can see it when every turn the pages
you hear that you have that experience and even if it's something that's fresh
way we might have a smell to it
that's gonna be memorable so we engage in a more century way
with something like this then we do with something
like this understand that the experiences this
in terms that interaction can go deeper than this
arm in terms of how you're going to remember it and how you're now respond
to it emotionally
and that there are a lot of people today recalls that their age
that resent being beholden to this as it is
so being able to go both ways go deep on that relationship

I'll be happy to design a business card or any other print media and collateral
for you but there are obvious marketing reasons in terms of having it is leave
behind
create an experience creating a moment
then remembers the context of your industry if you are oMG did yu
agency that screaming that print is dead obviously a business card is not
in your best interest to hand somebody and you're out what go the digital
native wrapped
but you could lose business on that that could go the other way
interest someone who might want to climb with you want to go
very heavily in digital but still wants to be in traditional media and print
so I mean context if you're in a media
driven agency that is pretty good reading if your magazine editor if
you're
you know this review that then obviously a business card definitely still matters
and it still has a lot of people in your industry
demographic wise
up whether digitally savvy or not
that still respect a business card
and it's still being brought up for twenty years at their career
expecting to get one of these so
that's my take on it I think that you go both ways
you obviously connect deep digitally as you can but you create an experience
with
something like a business card or some other print leave behind
and you do that so that you have both ways to you
address the situation based on what the context is
they were I wanna know your thoughts do you think I'm wrong you think business

you could go either way on that the pricing is pretty decent
